Come to China with us in July 2018 to pitch your innovative idea, product or service to a group of pre-qualified investors, partners and distributors.

China’s “Made in China 2025” Vision is designed to source new ideas, technology and knowledge from around the world and commercialise it for the China market. China has the money and the market. What it needs is the innovation and knowledge which, for the time being, has to be sourced from other countries, including Australia.

China’s major challenges re pollution, clean energy, healthcare, education and food security are well known and, as a result, sectors of particular interest are:

  • Healthcare, including Medical, Pharmaceuticals, Diagnostics etc.       
  • Clean, Green and Sustainable Energy         
  • Waste Management         
  • Anti-pollution technology (water, air, soil)         
  • Food processing technology and other innovations

In association with our partner in China, The Guangdong SME Association, we are organising the first of a series of ACSME Innovation Missions to showcase ‘Australian grown’ innovation and technology solutions to the China market so as to attract local investment, resources and partners.

To ensure maximum value and success for each of our delegates, ACSME will play a hands-on role in the process of ensuring a successful outcome. This includes:

1. Preparation

Working intensely with each ACSME delegate to prepare their marketing collateral, pitch documents and themselves to effectively present their innovative ideas to a Chinese audience of investors, locals companies and Government officials.

2. Pitch

Developing and delivering a concise, confident and China-friendly bilingual pitch to individual, small and large groups of investors in China who have been pre-qualified and briefed in advance to ensure a maximum chance of success.

3. Follow Up

Facilitating the follow up process to an MOU signing ceremony. This will include real and genuine commitments in China for future investment, resources and the commercialisation of your innovative idea for the China market.

Our goal is to ensure that every delegate reaches the final stage of this process so as to be ready to move forward with confidence. Qualified and experienced experts in corporate structuring, IP protection, patent registration and local company set up will join the mission to provide support and advice on the ground, as required.

COST

All inclusive cost of A$5,000 per delegate, which covers:

  • Hotels, local transport, interpreters and meals in China (we leave you to organise your own international flights to suit your preferences)

  • An inhouse intern to assist you in the development of your bilingual marketing collateral during the preparation phase

  • ACSME support, mentoring and advice through every stage of the process, including pre-qualifying Chinese investors, facilitating meetings and working with our local partners to ensure maximum chance of success

  • Access to professional advice and support on the ground from experienced lawyers, accountants and advisers

  • Your bilingual profile in our ACSME mission booklet which will be widely circulated in China

  • Membership of ACSME for one year (see www.acsme.com.au)

Our expectation is that, in addition to being fully tax deductible, the cost of your attendance and participation will be eligible for partial reimbursement under the Export Market Development Grant (EMDG) which we can facilitate for you, if required.

A maximum of 10 companies will be selected to join the mission and each will be fully assessed, vetted and pre-qualified by our Chinese partners to ensure everyone has a high chance of success. To ensure that every delegate has time to fully prepare for the mission, all delegates must be registered by 31st May 2018.
